Dr. William Yue was born in Calgary and grew up alongside his older brother Dr. James Yue. William enjoyed building models and working with his hands as a child, so Dentistry seemed like a good fit!
Dr. William Yue graduated from the Toronto School of Dentistry in 2013. He started his dental career with a hospital residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, working primarily with patients with special needs. He was especially gratified to see his patient’s self-perception of themselves improve with the changes he made to their smiles.
Dr. Yue works especially well with children, working hard to help alleviate their fears and anxieties about seeing the dentist. Above all else, enjoys helping people. In March 2016, William traveled with his brother James to Guatemala to provide dental care to those in need. In particular, he wanted to give back to those in need by helping and treating people who may never have access to the things we take for granted.
Now that he is working at Chestermere Dental Care with his brother James, Dr. Yue wants to provide quality dental care to his patients as well as be an active member of the Chestermere community.
Outside of work, Dr. William Yue loves cars, building things and fixing things around the house. He is musically inclined, winning several Kiwanis Music Festival Certificates. Furthermore, he won the Dr. Donald Fraser Dental Award from the University Health Network during his time in Toronto. William always wants to keep visiting new places, trying new foods, meeting new people as well as any new activities and experiences.
